The team is very professional and experienced, and went the extra mile to ensure I had a good experience throughout the procedure. I am absolutely thrilled with my experience at MAXIM Hair Restoration in Albany! From start to finish, the entire process was incredibly smooth and professional. I had been considering a hair transplant for quite some time, and I am so glad I chose this clinic. I also want to thank Devin for his warm welcome and efficient coordination of appointments. He made the administrative process hassle-free and pleasant. I was hesitant at the beginning, but he was very patient, reassuring, and easy to talk to. He even followed up with me for multiple days after my procedure, to make sure everything was healing okay and that I was doing well! The facility itself is state-of-the-art and immaculate. It's clear that MAXIM prioritizes patient comfort and safety. (I was even able to watch TV during the latter half of the procedure, which helped it fly by). The modern equipment and comfortable environment helped alleviate any anxiety I had about the procedure. I am already beginning to see the results of my FUE and I couldn't be happier. The natural hairline that Rhonda and Margaret and the team meticulously created for me looks fantastic. I am excited to see the full transformation in the coming months. If you're considering a hair transplant, I wholeheartedly recommend MAXIM. I was reluctant about this whole process, but have been beyond impressed and grateful for the opportunity to feel like myself once again. A very good experience. I visited them for dealing with a genetically related concern (partly from my grandfather's side I think) and the results are good. It was an all-day procedure but in the end, the results are coming along nicely. Very hardworking team who were very professional, friendly, and also helped me including getting a ride home afterwards (especially because we were done late that night). Lunch is provided also, but if you have any particular food needs or get hungry and need snacks sometimes it may be a good idea to bring some of your own in case. Overall, very attentive and good people to deal with. I will say, be 100% sure to follow post-care instructions they provide. I do recommend them and it's definitely more affordable than USA providers. EDIT: I'm leaving the review several months after treatment so I know I'm seeing results coming long as expected. 🙂

I've had two transplants done at Maxim, and the results have been life changing. My first transplant was in June 2020 and the results were fantastic. I had a second filler procedure done in 2022 because I started TRT and the additional testosterone caused some shedding. Dr. Thiele is a consummate professional and does a wonderful job. They do good work here and make sure that all your questions are answered before any procedures take place. Bryan

Out of fairness it is only my first day post-op so I'm in the waiting game now but my experience with Maxim and the procedure was excellent. It was overseen by Dr. Keith and performed by the very capable and experienced techs Andy and Genesis, it's also worth mentioning that they have a great repertoire with each other and work very well together. Don't be put off by how young they may look, between the two they have almost 20 years experience performing hair grafts and were both extremely professional. There was surprisingly very little pain involved, honestly the hardest part was the discomfort of having to lay still for a long time during the harvesting and grafting sections but even then I dozed off numerous times during the procedure. They do not appear to have over harvested from the donor area and the harvested follicles appear very well and consistently spread out. I'm not worried at all about how the donor area will eventually look once the healing and growth cycles do their thing over the next 6-8 months. I'm experiencing literally no pain post op. Very minimal swelling around my forehead and it's already basically gone all the way down not even a full 24 hrs post-op. There's basically some minor numbness and tightness but I'm also not bleeding or spotting at all. The swelling will obviously vary between people and yes it's only day one and I'm now in the waiting game but I feel very, very confident about the eventual results.

I really had a great experience with Maxim. Everyone is jolly, accommodating and they made sure that I am comfortable all through out the operation. The result after few months is amazing. Definitely a great decision to have it done with Maxim.

Let me just start by saying that I rarely write reviews, but my consultation with Maxim was solid. I had two prior consultation and the experiences were horrible. Very cold, matter-of-fact approach, but with Maxim I felt comfortable right away. I had my consultation with Raven and she's great! My previous consultations were kinda awkward and embarrassing but Raven is really down to earth and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable talking about my struggles with hair loss and introduced me to the Technicians and Doctor who do the procedures in the New York office. I was also impressed that they have a lot of experience with different hair types (I'm black and have very curly hair so that was a very important factor for me). If you are researching places for FUE/FUT, I would strongly recommend putting them on your list.

Amazing experience, got a 1700 fue beard transplant. Surgery went by rally quick and my beard looks very natural and not fake like most videos online from other companies which is why I chose maxim. The post op care assistance is amazing as well!

I received my hair transplant done by Sia and two other practitioners at the Lakewood Ranch facility and have nothing but good things to say about them!
